how it works
Lobby
In the Lobby Screen of the Click Defeat app, users can choose between four different game modes based on the duration of the challenge.
These modes are:
• 5-minute mode: A quick session designed for short and fast-paced gameplay.
• 60-minute mode: A longer game that lasts for an hour.
• 8-hour mode: For those who want to engage in a more extended session.
• 24-hour mode: A day-long game mode, allowing participants to take part in ongoing competition over a full day.
Once the player selects their desired game mode, they can press the matchmaking button. This button will initiate a search to find another player who has selected the same game mode.
Once a match is found, the game will begin. This lobby and matchmaking system ensures players can quickly find opponents and start the competitive gameplay
Gameplay
Click Defeat uses a simple turn-based gameplay where:
• Players take turns pressing a button as fast as possible.
• When it’s your turn, you press the button, and then your opponent’s button becomes active.
• Your opponent then presses their button as quickly as they can, and the turn switches back to you.
The time between when the button becomes active and when it’s pressed is called the delay. Scoring is based on how fast you react. The player with the shortest total delay time between button presses wins the game.
Leaderboards
The Leaderboard in Click Defeat tracks player performance globally.
Here’s how it works:
Global Leaderboard:
Currently, only a global leaderboard is available, showing the top players from around the world based on their game performance.
Scoring Factors:
Your position on the leaderboard depends on two key factors:
1. Number of games played: The more you play, the better your chances of ranking higher.
2. Reaction time: Players with the shortest reaction times (delay between button presses) earn better scores.
In future updates, the app may include other leaderboards, such as daily, weekly, and local rankings
